furniture maker & craftswoman.

Hannah received a BFA in Sculpture from the University of North Carolina Asheville. Post graduation, she worked for Kidwell Fabrications in Portland, Maine.

She and her husband now live in their hometown in Madison County, North Carolina. She currently makes custom work in the Grovewood Studios in North Asheville.

Driven by a curiosity of the natural world and believing that the functional items in our homes hold memory, her work places focus on the relationships we cultivate around these objects.

With purposeful functionality and design she aims to bring awareness to the ways in which humans engage with their environments and with whom we share our time with.

Striving to bring warmth and character into a space, every piece embraces traditional craftsmanship with intentional design using responsibly sourced materials.

The landscape of Appalachia serves as the medium for both the work and its inspiration.
